The names and number of new ministers in the federal cabinet of Shahbaz Sharif government came to light


 

Opposition Prime Ministerial candidate Shahbaz Sharif's victory has revealed the names and number of new ministers in the federal cabinet in his government. According to media reports, Shahbaz Sharif, the opposition alliance's candidate for the PM's job, has started consultations with the allies to form his cabinet. The cabinet will have 12 PML-N and 7 PPP ministers while 4, MQM 2 and BNP Mengal, ANP, Jamhoori Watan Party and Balochistan Awami Party will be given one ministry each.

Citing sources, it has been reported that Mohsin Dawar, Aslam Bhootani and Tariq Bashir Cheema are also likely to be included in the federal cabinet. Maryam Aurangzeb, Shaista Pervez Malik, Rana Sanaullah and Murtaza Javed Abbasi are likely to be included in the cabinet while PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari may be the foreign minister but Shazia Murree's name is also under consideration.

In addition, the PPP will give the ministry to either Sherry Rehman or Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar from the Senate, while the Senate is considering the name of PML-N Senator Azam Nazir Tarar as the Leader of the House, JUI-F Balochistan said. Or the demand for governorship of one of the provinces of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, PPP will be given the post of governor of Punjab and MQM will be given the post of governor of Sindh.

It may be recalled that after Imran Khan was removed from office by a vote of no confidence, the new Prime Minister of the country will be elected today for which the nomination papers of Shahbaz Sharif and Shah Mehmood Qureshi have been approved. Rejecting the objections raised by the PTI, the nomination papers of Shahbaz Sharif have been accepted and at the same time the nomination papers of the Prime Ministerial candidate Shah Mehmood Qureshi have also been accepted by the PTI. No objections were lodged.
