According to Geo News, Governor Sindh and Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have announced their resignation following the election and swearing in of PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif as Prime Minister. While Sindh Governor Imran Ismail has said that he has written his resignation, as soon as Shahbaz Sharif takes oath of office, he will resign from the post. However, Punjab Governor Omar Cheema, who has recently become governor, has not yet announced his resignation.
Sindh Governor Imran Ismail says that he does not consider Shahbaz Sharif as the Prime Minister. I have started shifting goods.
Billions of rupees have flowed out of Shahbaz Sharif's peon's account. That's why I don't want to call them head. I have written my resignation and as soon as Shahbaz Sharif is sworn in as the Prime Minister, I will resign from my post. On the other hand, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has boycotted the election of the Prime Minister. Speaking in the National Assembly, PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that some will win and some will lose and some will win even if they lose. Announcing his resignation, I would like to thank all the supporters including On the Floor GD, Monis Elahi, Zubeida Jalal.
He said that the constitutional process has to reach its final stage. Today there will be an election process. Some will be successful and some will be free. I am grateful to those who have not changed their allegiance. There is an alliance, it is an unnatural alliance, history has shown that there is no harmony among them, in this alliance Benazir Bhutto is about to lose her role However, it is said that a 37-point agreement has been reached.
