Election of Chief Minister: Date of Punjab Assembly session changed again, meeting convened again today


 

Election of the Chief Minister, the date of the meeting of the Punjab Assembly has been changed again, the meeting has been reconvened today. Sources said that the date of the meeting of the Punjab Assembly has been changed once again after which the meeting has been reconvened at 7.30 pm today.

According to sources, the meeting has been convened by Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly Dost Muhammad Mazari in which the Chief Minister of Punjab will also be elected. It may be recalled that yesterday, Deputy Speaker Sardar Dost Muhammad Mazari had approved to adjourn today's session of Punjab Assembly till April 16 and ordered to reconvene the session on April 16. According to sources, the reason for postponing today's meeting was that time was needed for repairs after a day of vandalism in the House by members.
