Pakistan's decision to pursue an independent foreign policy on Russia and Ukraine tensions

 


ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has decided to pursue an independent foreign policy on Russia and Ukraine tensions. A meeting of the National Security Committee chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan was held here today. Consideration was given to formulating strategies on other issues. The meeting also considered strategies on other issues of national security.

The meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan and was attended by senior officials including Army Chief and DG ISI. The government decided to pursue an independent foreign policy. The meeting called for resolving the tensions between Russia and Ukraine through dialogue.

It was decided at the meeting that Pakistan is not a supporter of tension in any case. It is to be noted that there is a state of war between Russia and Ukraine and clashes are ongoing. Instructed to leave Ukraine as soon as possible. According to Pakistani Ambassador Muhammad Ijaz, time is running out fast, do not delay due to false hope, fear or confusion, find the safest way wherever you are and get out of Ukraine as soon as possible.
