Army Chief says that in order to defeat terrorism, the network of terrorists and facilitators must be broken. According to Pakistan Army Public Relations Department ISPR , Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Panjgur district of Balochistan on Saturday. According to ISPR, the commander spent a day in Panjgur with the soldiers who foiled the terrorist attack.
The Army Chief also met the tribal elders of Panjgur, paid homage to the martyrs who defended the motherland and appreciated the role of elders in the war on terror. During the visit, the Commander-in-Chief was given a detailed briefing on the emerging threats response mechanism and the security situation by the local commander.
While addressing the troops during the visit, Army Chief General Qamar Bajwa said that in order to defeat terrorism, the network of terrorists and facilitators would have to be broken.
In Balochistan, conspiracies of anti-national elements will be foiled. Young people keep their operational readiness. In his address to the troops, the Army Chief lauded the timely and effective response and said that security and safety of the local population would be ensured. It should be noted here that the security personnel had foiled a major terrorist attack in Panjgur on February 2.
