The United States has allowed new Pakistani ambassador Masood Khan to take up diplomatic responsibilities. Sardar Masood Khan, Pakistan's new ambassador to the United States, has been named as Pakistan's new ambassador to the United States in November last year. Former President of Azad Kashmir Masood Khan was nominated by India as US Ambassador. However, Pakistan rejected Indian propaganda on the appointment of Masood Khan as Ambassador to US saying that Indian media reports are part of misinformation campaign. The spokesman said that the Indian media reports were an attempt to defame Pakistan and its representatives, adding that the Indian media was using fake news to make insulting claims and baseless allegations. According to the spokesperson, Masood Khan is a highly skilled diplomat, with over 40 years of experience in multilateral and bilateral diplomacy.
