The top ten is not important, the Prime Minister's trust in me is the only satisfaction
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that it is not important for me to be in the top ten of any review committee and the Prime Minister has full confidence in me that he Satisfaction. According to details, speaking on a program on private TV channel Geo News, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that meeting with Chaudhry brothers has dealt a blow to PML-N's statement.
The Chaudhrys are political people and they know that the interests of the government and the state are one. The Foreign Minister raised the question whether PML-N is ready to hand over the leadership of Punjab to PML-Q. It may be recalled that Prime Minister Imran Khan gave certificates of appreciation to ten ministries on the basis of their performance, after which several ministers had recorded their protest expressing reservations on the issue.
Some ministers said in behind-the-scenes talks that a review committee comprising unelected persons could review the performance of cabinet members. Those who did not get a place in the top 10 performance list seem to be questioning the method of scoring given to ministers. A ministerial source said that the committee headed by Shehzad Arbab did not tell the ministers what was the procedure for reviewing the performance.
Another minister complained that 70 marks were set for "performance" on the basis of which some targets were set, while the remaining 30 most important marks were set aside for review by the review committee. While Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry said that the criteria for awarding the ministers was not understood, it should have been explained. Awards were given, I have no problem not receiving the award, many ministers got angry.
