In the Punjab Provincial Assembly, the ruling party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's like-minded group also came into action. According to Geo News, the like-minded group of PTI has also become active in the Punjab Assembly and in this regard, the like-minded group has convened its important meeting in Lahore today. Ghazanfar Abbas Chahina, senior leader of Hum Khayal Group, says that the meeting will decide the future course of action in the current political situation. It has been reported that the sympathetic group of PTI includes members of Punjab Assembly Amir Inayat Shahani, Ali Raza Khakwani, Ejaz Sultan Bandisha, Muhammad Ahsan Jahangir, Gulraiz Afzal Gondal while other members of the sympathetic group include Khawaja Dawood Salmani, Mohi. Uddin Khosa, Col.  retd  Ghazanfar Abbas Shah, Ghazanfar Abbas Chahina, Timur Ali Lali, Sardar Shahabuddin, Faisal Farooq Cheema, Ejaz Khan and Ghulam Ali Asghar.

In the current political situation of the country, the members of the Tareen group had an informal meeting in which Noman Langarial, Zawar Warraich, Aun Chaudhry, Salman Naeem, Lala Tahir, Khurram Leghari, Ishaq Khakwani, Faisal Hayat Jabwana and Ajmal Cheema participated. Consultations were held on important issues, pro-Jahangir Tareen members of the Assembly consulted for the next course of action and discussed the current situation.

Sources said that like-minded members of the Tareen group discussed the meetings between the opposition and the ruling coalition. The PPP leadership is keen to meet the group, about which the leaders of the Tareen group also consulted absentee friends over the phone, with members of the group awaiting the final policy of senior PTI leader Jahangir Tareen. At present, the members will take a stand to stand with the party. After the final cards of the opposition come out, Jahangir Tareen will come up with his own plan. The Tareen group has decided to remain silent till the final cards of the opposition come out and Look at the political situation and wait and see what policy has been decided.
