Rawalpindi:  Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that the elimination of terrorists and facilitators will ensure the country will thwart all the intentions of the enemies, will not allow terrorists to reorganize. According to ISPR, the 247th Corps Commanders Conference was held under the chairmanship of Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa. The conference reviewed the internal and external challenges facing the country. The latest situation in Balochistan after the recent incidents was also reviewed in detail.

The conference discussed the need to curb the activities of anti-national elements. The participants were briefed on the steps to be taken against terrorism.

The participants in the conference paid homage to the soldiers who were martyred in Balochistan. The martyrs ensured national defense by fighting the terrorists. Expressing satisfaction over the operational readiness of Pakistan Army, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that the country would thwart all the intentions of the enemies.

The Army Chief said that the terrorists would not be allowed to regroup, the remnants of the terrorists would be eliminated and the elimination of terrorists and their facilitators would be ensured.
