The anti-government movement, the opposition, sought the opinion of legal and constitutional experts

In connection with the anti-government movement, the opposition sought the opinion of legal and constitutional experts. According to Express News, the opposition has started considering other aspects besides the no-confidence motion. In this regard, the opposition leaders have started contacts with prominent legal experts of the country to bring down the government. Consultations have been held on legal and constitutional options, in which the opinion of opposition legal experts has been sought.

Citing sources, the report said that legal experts had offered legal and constitutional advice to the opposition, saying that in a parliamentary system of government, the prime minister could remain in office as long as he had the support of a majority in the house. If 10 to 15 members of the government resign then the government will not have a simple majority then the opposition will ask the Prime Minister to take a vote of confidence then the opposition will achieve its goal without a no-confidence motion In that case, even if the government allies leave with them, the opposition can still win.

Sources in the media report said that when the opposition leaders asked the legal experts what could happen if the resignations of the resigning members were not accepted by the Speaker's Assembly? In response, legal experts said that under the Constitution and the law, it is up to the Speaker to decide how long he accepts the resignations of these members. Sources in the report said that the concern of the opposition leaders was heightened when the opinion of the legal experts came to light. However, in the light of the opinion of the legal experts, the final decision on the option against the government will be taken by the opposition leaders soon.
