Recommendation of Punjab Government to increase the per capita price of wheat by Rs. 400 to Rs. 2200


 

Punjab government has recommended to increase the per capita price of wheat from Rs 400 to Rs 2,200. I fear the extraordinary increase. According to details, the issue of fixing support price of wheat in Punjab has been delayed this year.

Federal ministers have expressed reservations over the summary sent to the federal government by the Punjab government regarding the subsidized price of wheat. According to media reports, no final decision has been taken regarding the purchase price of wheat in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. A summary has been sent to the federation on the recommendation of the Punjab government to fix the per capita price of wheat at Rs.

Federal ministers have taken the position that the subsidized purchase price of wheat was fixed at Rs. It has been informed that a summary of wheat sport price sent by the Punjab government will be presented in the Economic Coordination Committee. Prime Minister Imran Khan will consider the recommendations of the Economic Coordination Committee in the Federal Cabinet.

The Prime Minister will take a final decision in the next few days after consultation. It was further stated that Prime Minister Imran Khan has also convened an important meeting of his economic team. Important economic issues will be discussed during the meeting. During the meeting, the Prime Minister will likely address the nation after important consultations. According to media reports, in his address, the Prime Minister will brief the nation on the global impact of inflation and take it into confidence.
