PSL 7, Quetta Gladiators defeated Islamabad United by 5 wickets
In the 18th match of Pakistan Super League PSL Quetta Gladiators defeated Islamabad United by 5 wickets. Quetta Gladiators won the toss and elected to bowl first against Islamabad United in the 18th match of PSL being played at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. Rehmanullah Garbaz was the first batsman to be dismissed for 19, with Naseem Shah scattering his wickets.
Captain Shadab Khan could not play big innings and Shahid Afridi ended his 12-run innings. Alex Hales completed his half-century during this time. Hales was dismissed for 62 off 38 balls with the help of 4 fours and 4 sixes. Gladiators veteran all-rounder Shahid Afridi made Muhammad Akhlaq LBW with a score of 102.

Asif Ali scored 6 runs and became the wicket of Noor Ahmed who played his first match. Faheem Ashraf and Liam Dawson put on an excellent partnership to take the score to 187 runs. In pursuit of the 200-run target, Jason Roy and Ehsan Ali started batting for Quetta Gladiators and formed a partnership of 88 runs. Jason Roy scored 54 off 27 balls with the help of 10 fours and a six. Shadab Khan Quetta Gladiators' second wicket fell at 92 and Ahsan Ali was dismissed for 30 runs.
The Gladiators' third wicket fell at 130. The only batsman to be dismissed was James Owens, who was bowled by Shadab Khan for 29. Later, Iftikhar Ahmed scored 4 for 139 off Shadab Khan's pavilion. Quetta team has made two changes and Noor Ahmed is debuting with Umar Akmal Hassan Khan has been included in the team in place of Muhammad Nawaz.
