Pakistan Army spokesman Major General Babar Iftikhar has said that Operation Swift Retart is a testament to the professionalism of the defense forces. According to details, Maj. Gen. In a statement released on the social networking site Twitter, he said that Pakistan Air Force had shot down two Indian Air Force planes during Operation Swift Retart on February 27 and Pakistan Navy had traced the Indian submarine. It may be recalled that 40 Indian soldiers were killed in a car bomb blast in Pulwama district of Occupied Kashmir on February 14, 2019, which India had directly blamed on Pakistan. The situation became tense after the Pulwama incident and The Indian Air Force violated the Line of Control LoC on the night when the Pakistan Air Force PAF retaliated by dropping its weapons near Balakot and then fled. Two Indian planes were shot down while an Indian pilot wing commander, Nandan, was also arrested.
