Leading Pakistani bodybuilder Yahya Butt has died

Leading Pakistani bodybuilder Yahya Butt, who has won numerous awards including three times Mr. Asia, has passed away in Lahore.

Yahya was suffering from cancer and his death was confirmed by Naeem Akhtar, President Punjab Bodybuilding Association.



Yahya Butt was also the chairman of the Punjab Bodybuilding Association and has been three times Mr. Asia, Mr. Olympia and Mr. Pakistan.

He contracted the corona virus in 2020 and after recovering from it was diagnosed with colon cancer, a disease that proved fatal.

Expressing grief over the demise of Yahya Butt, Provincial Sports Minister Rai Timur Bhatti said that Yahya Butt's bodybuilding services could never have a legend like hem
