Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Local Government Election PTI won from Maulana Fazlur Rehman's stronghold


 

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf  PTI  has won the local body elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa  KP  from the stronghold of Maulana Fazlur Rehman. According to media reports, unconfirmed unofficial results of all 296 polling stations have been received for the seat of city mayor in Dera Ismail Khan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf  PTI  has won in the constituency of Maulana Fazlur Rehman, head of Pakistan Democratic Movement. Umar Amin Gandapur has got 63,753 votes while his rival Kafil Nizami of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islami remained at the second position with 38,891 votes and Faisal Karim Kundi of PPP got 32,788 votes.

It has been reported that a total of 149,246 votes were cast in this constituency, out of which 3,754 were rejected while the turnout in the elections was 45.57%. Other unconfirmed and unofficial results show that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf  PTI  has also won the seats of chairman of Domil tehsil of Bannu, Banda Daudshah tehsil of Karak and Takht-e-Nusrati. Name the UIF.

Similarly, unofficial unconfirmed results of all 54 polling stations were also received for the chairmanship seat of Tehsil Dara of Kohat where independent candidate Shahid Bilal won with 1,685 votes while the second runner up was also an independent candidate named Abrar. Muhammad is the one who got 928 votes.
