Justice Qazi Faiz Issa Case Disagreement note issued by 4 judges who rejected the review A judge is also held accountable for his mistakes and omissions. Justice Faiz Isa is obliged to provide details of the assets of his family members. Disagree note

ISLAMABAD: A dissenting note has been issued to four judges of the Supreme Court dismissing the review of Justice kazi Faiz Issa. According to media reports, the 100-page dissenting note was written by Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial. Other judges include Justice Sajjad Ali Shah, Justice Muneeb Akhtar and Justice Qazi Muhammad Amin. Quranic verses were also cited in the minority verdict.

The dissenting note states that even a judge is accountable for his or her own mistakes and omissions. A complaint has been lodged against Justice Qazi Faiz in the Supreme Judicial Council. It is very important to clarify the content to protect the reputation. The argument that Article 184/3 of the Constitution does not apply does not carry weight. Justice Faiz Issa is obliged to provide details of assets of his family members. After resigning, there is a difference between the accountability of a judge and a civil servant. The disputed verdict said that there is a forum of Supreme Judicial Council for inquiry into the complaint. When these properties were purchased, Justice Faiz Issa was the Chief Justice of Balochistan High Court. Had a connection with his wife's foreign currency accounts, it is very important for the FBRK to review these documents The impression may be that the Dalit has adopted different standards for one of its members, a judge being a part of the elite due to his high position. Justice Muneeb Akhtar in an additional note in the dissenting verdict said that the verdict given on January 29 is for 4 out of 10 judges, Justice Yahya Afridi gave additional note and how can Justice (retd) Manzoor Malik sign the detailed verdict? This is a matter of concern because Justice Manzoor Malik agreed with the decision and he retired several months ago and under the law, Justice Manzoor Malik could not sign the detailed reasons, so the decision signed by Justice (retd) Manzoor Malik has no legal status. An additional note states that the Supreme Judicial Council may conduct an inquiry against the petitioners. Justice Faiz Isa has no majority in the review case, therefore the Supreme Judicial Council or any forum may investigate the FBR report, Justice Qazi Amin said. Agreed with Justice Muneeb Akhtar's additional note.
