More than 1.4 million people who fell victim to corona were also able to recover. In terms of deaths, Punjab was the worst affected province where more than 13,000 people died due to the deadly epidemic, while a total of more than 500,000 cases were reported.

In terms of number of cases, Sindh was the most affected province with over 566,000 cases and over 8,000 deaths so far. Significant progress was made in the fight against corona in the country when the vaccination campaign was launched on February 2, 2021, after which a total of more than 212.2 million doses of vaccine have been administered to the vaccinated population in the country so far. According to the National Command and Operations Center, 1,207 more cases of corona virus have been reported in Pakistan in the last 24 hours while 25,313 more patients have been cured.
