According to details, Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United came face to face at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Friday. Shaheen XI won just moments before the rain. Shadab XI chased down the target of 170 runs and got all out on the fourth ball of the last over.

It was informed before the match that there is a fear of rain today due to which if the match is not drawn then Lahore Qalandars team will play the final.

The Meteorological Department had forecast rain in the city in the evening. It was informed that in case of rain affecting the match, the match overs would be reduced. In case of a draw, Lahore Qalandars will reach the final. Lahore Qalandars will reach the final by winning more matches in the league stage as per PSL rules. The PCB has set February 27 as an extra day for rain in the final.
