Foreigners visiting Saudi Arabia on visit and working visas are banned from performing Hajj
Foreigners coming to Saudi Arabia on visit and working visas are not allowed to perform Hajj. Announcement of permission. According to details, an important decision has been taken by the Saudi government regarding Hajj arrangements this year.
According to the report of Al Arabiya News, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia has announced to allow only two types of non-Saudis to perform Hajj this year. A press statement issued by the Ministry of Hajj on Thursday said that the Hajj rites can be performed only by non-Saudis who have come on special Hajj visas or have permanent residence in the country.
Foreigners who have come to Saudi Arabia on visitor visas or working visas will not be allowed to perform Hajj this year. It should be noted that due to the Corona virus epidemic, the Hajj pilgrimage was not allowed as usual by the Saudi government during the last two years. Due to the outbreak of the Karuna epidemic by the Saudi government in 2020, only 10,000 people were selected to perform Hajj.
Last year, the number of pilgrims was increased to 60,000. In the last two years, pilgrims from abroad were not allowed to enter during the Hajj. The Saudi government had selected only those wishing to perform Hajj in the kingdom. It may be recalled that a few months ago, the Saudi government had relaxed most of the restrictions on performing Umrah, after which there was a clear increase in the number of pilgrims receiving the blessings of Umrah. Now that the Saudi government has vaccinated most of the country's population against coronavirus, it is being speculated that the Saudi government may ease restrictions on the number of pilgrims this year.
