Federal Shariah Court dismisses petition against PM's marriage The petition filed by a three-member bench against Imran Khan's marriage was dismissed as inadmissible


 
The Federal Shariah Court has dismissed the petition filed against the marriage of the Prime Minister, declaring the petition filed against the marriage of Imran Khan as inadmissible by a three-member bench. According to details, a major decision was given by the Federal Shariah Court in favor of Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday. According to Express News, a three-member bench headed by the Chief Justice of the Federal Shariah Court heard the petition filed against the marriage of Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday.

During the hearing, a petition was filed by the petitioner stating that since women do not have the legal authority to terminate their marriage to a man, it was illegal for Bushra Bibi to divorce Imran Khan.


The petitioner stated that the word khula used in the Qur'an has nothing to do with marriage or divorce. The petitioner demanded that the marriage of Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi should be declared illegal and both should be punished.


After hearing the petitioner's position, a three-member bench of the court dismissed the petition as inadmissible. It should be noted that Prime Minister Imran Khan before coming to power. Bushra had confirmed his marriage to Bibi in February 2018. This is the second marriage of Bushra Bibi and the third marriage of Prime Minister Imran Khan
