Explosion near Levies check post in Chaman

  1. According to details, an explosion has been reported near a Levies Force check post in Chaman, Balochistan. According to media reports, five people, including two security personnel, were seriously injured in the blast.
  2. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital, while security forces cordoned off the area. It should be noted here that two days ago, two attacks on security forces were carried out by terrorists in Balochistan. The attacks in Noshki and Panjgur were foiled by the security forces and several terrorists were sent to hell.

Inflation in Pakistan reaches 22-month high

Inflation in Pakistan has reached a 22-month high, the Federal Bureau of Statistics  FBS  said. Inflation rose to 12.3%. According to media reports, a statement issued by the Federal Bureau of Statistics said that with the continuous rise in prices of petroleum products, essential commodities have become more expensive, pushing inflation to a 22-month high. According to the Bureau of Statistics, inflation was 8% in December 2020 and inflation was 8.63% in six months. FBR succeeds in setting new tax collection record

  The Federal Bureau of Revenue FBR has managed to set a new record of tax collections by collecting about Rs 4,000 billion during the first eight months of the current financial year as compared to the same period last year. More than Rs.1000 billion was collected. According to the details, the FBR collected record taxes of Rs 3996 billion in the first eight months of the financial year. According to the statement, during July-February 2021-22, 30% more taxes were collected than last year, while last year, during the 8 months, tax collections of 3074 billion were collected. According to the statement, tax refunds of Rs 197 billion were issued from July to January, while refunds of Rs 157 billion were issued during the same period last year.
