According to ISPR, the 247th Corps Commanders Conference was held under the chairmanship of Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa. The conference discussed the need to curb the activities of anti-national elements. The participants were briefed on the steps to be taken against terrorism. Expressing satisfaction over the operational readiness of Pakistan Army, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that the country would thwart all the intentions of the enemies.

The Army Chief said that the terrorists would not be allowed to regroup, the remnants of the terrorists would be eliminated and the elimination of terrorists and their facilitators would be ensured.
