Decision to add 4 to 5 more ministers in Punjab cabinet

In view of the possible no-confidence motion in Punjab, it has been decided to include 4 to 5 more ministers in the provincial cabinet. According to details, sources in this regard said that it has been decided to take new ministers in the Punjab cabinet from the angry PTI factions and allies while the grievances of the angry members will also be addressed.

After the increase, the number of Punjab cabinet members is likely to increase to 50. It has also been decided to address the grievances of the members of the Punjab Assembly and provide development funds. Along with the expansion of the provincial cabinet, more development funds will be provided to government members. On the occasion of Prime Minister Imran Khan's visit to Lahore, the ministers also briefed him about their ministries.

Provincial Minister for Health Dr. Yasmeen Rashid informed about the construction of new hospitals and excellent reception of health card. It may be recalled that Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived in Lahore on a one-day visit yesterday where he was briefed by Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar on development projects. The Chief Minister also apprised the Prime Minister of the investigation into the Khanewal incident. IG Punjab Police and Chief Secretary also attended the meeting later.

IG Punjab Police informed the Prime Minister about the arrests made in Khanewal incident. The Punjab Chief Minister briefed the Prime Minister about the mega project Elevated Expressway in Lahore. The Prime Minister directed for strict monitoring for speedy completion of development projects and also commended Chief Minister Usman Bazdar for the excellent progress in development projects. Prime Minister Imran Khan said that facilities under health card in Punjab is the best step of Punjab government, more plans should be brought in the coming days for the convenience of the people.
