Committees on administrative and judicial powers of the Supreme Court were reconstituted


 

The Chief Justice of Pakistan has reconstituted the Committees on Administrative and Judicial Powers. Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan Punjab, Justice Mazhar Alam Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Justice Sajjad Ali Shah Sindh have been appointed as monitoring judges of anti-terrorism courts.

According to Hum News, the Chief Justice of Pakistan has reconstituted the committees related to administrative and judicial powers, under which Chief Justice of Pakistan Umrata Bandial will be appointed as the chairman of the building committee. The committee will consist of Justice Ejaz-ul-Haq and Justice Sajjad Ali Shah.

A spokesman of the Supreme Court said that Justice Qazi Faiz Issa has appointed Balochistan as the monitoring judge of the anti-terrorism court.

Justice Tariq Masood appointed Monitoring Judge of Anti-Terrorism Court of Islamabad, Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan appointed Monitoring Judge of Anti-Terrorism Courts of Punjab, Justice Mazhar Alam appointed Monitoring Judge of Anti-Terrorism Courts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Justice Sajjad Ali Shah of Anti-Terrorism Courts of Sindh. Monitoring judge appointed Similarly, Justice Qazi Faiz Issa will be the administrative judge of the Supreme Court Research Center Affairs Committee.

The Supreme Court Research Center Affairs Committee also includes Justice Muneeb Akhtar and Justice Mansoor Ali Shah. Justice Qazi Faiz Issa will be the head of the Law Clerk Program Committee while Justice Mazhar Alam Mian Khel will also be part of the Law Clerk Program Committee. The two-member committee will make recommendations for the appointment of law clerks. Justice Qazi Faiz Advocate on Record in Enrollment Committee has also been appointed as Chairman. The committee will also include Justice Maqbool Baqir, Justice Yahya Afridi and Justice Qazi Amin.
