Attempts to smuggle drugs from Karachi to the UK by hiding in sanitary pipes were foiled. 360 kg of drugs were seized.




 In Karachi, ANF Intelligence and Port Control Unit conducted a joint operation. A spokesman for the Anti-Narcotics Force said the container was seized and searched on a tip-off.

The 1,200 sanitary pipes in the container were found suspicious. During the search, 300 grams of drugs were recovered from each pipe. A total of 360 kg of drugs were recovered. According to the ANF spokesperson, the container was being sent to UK through a Karachi-based company. Teams have been formed to nab the main accused. The matter is being further investigated.
